The next season of CyberGamer Premier League is ready to kick off tomorrow with eight Australian teams fighting for a share of the $15,000 AUD (~$11,400) prize pool.
Four teams received invites to the Australian league including reigning champions Chiefs, Taboo, Dark Sided and Grayhound, who is ranked 26th on our world rankings. The other four teams survived the six-team closed qualifier that took place earlier this month and finalized the full team list.
The same online format will be featured this season, where it will be best-of-two, round-robin matches again. However, the venue for the four-team offline finals will be located at AVCon, Adelaide's Anime & Video Games Festival (July 20-22), instead of the organizer's studio.
